Position Overview:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for conducting both clinical and investigative nuclear medicine assessments and therapeutic interventions. This includes a variety of general and cardiac studies, along with the necessary computer operations related to these procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical training for nuclear medicine students and other staff as required.
  • Assist in the formulation of policies, procedures, standards, and objectives, as well as quality assurance protocols for Nuclear Medicine services.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend shifts except for on-call duties.

On-call responsibilities will rotate, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, occurring every 12 days. The on-call duration will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend or 14 hours if it is during a weeknight.

Compensation for on-call duties includes call pay for carrying a pager, as well as overtime and shift differentials when called in.
