Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies

Department: 12 Bed Mixed Acuity Medical ICU and Cardiac PCU

Employment Type: Full Time, 0.9 FTE

Shift: Nights

Compensation: $55.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

Eligibility: Local RN Traveler contract options available for those residing within 75 miles.

Assignment Duration: 13-week assignments with potential for extension.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-tier patient care utilizing the nursing process in a critical care environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Focus on wellness, patient perspectives, and evidence-based practices.
  • Mentor and support new healthcare professionals and those new to UCHealth.
  • Embrace continuous learning in a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting.
  • Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Critical Care Focus:

  • Provide direct care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with complex technical requirements.
  • Utilize AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence-based care.
