Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biology Tutor to join our team at Collin County Community College. As a Biology Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in biology courses, helping them to clarify course material and improve their study skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with students individually or in small groups to provide tutoring and guidance
  • Assist students with course-related equipment and supplies
  • Maintain records of students tutored as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records
  • Ensure offices and files are adequately secured

Requirements:

  • Masters degree including 18 graduate hours in biology or related field
  • One year of related experience
  • Knowledge of college-level biology courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
