Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician Trainee to join our team at the Porterville Developmental Center. As a Psychiatric Technician Trainee, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct care, treatment, and active treatment for clients under the direction of Unit Supervisor or SRPT/NPIC.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory abilities to perform duties.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
