Adecco is assisting a leading pharmaceutical organization in recruiting for an onsite Licensed Bench Pharmacist for their site in Richmond, Rhode Island.
Job Summary:The Pharmacist is responsible for the continuation of pharmacy management goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. The pharmacist provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet/exceed site budgets by leveraging operating policies, procedures, and processes to ensure operational excellence.
- Optimize cost management in line with script counts, collaborating with the General Manager to serve as primary owner for Band III accounts and facility owner for Band I and II accounts in assigned geography.
- Drive organic growth and mitigate risk with existing customer relationships, negotiating and finalizing customer contracts in collaboration with regional leadership.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Consultant Pharmacists, and corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives.
- Evaluate the overall results of operations, regularly and systematically reporting the results to the GM and/or VPO.
- Ensure compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations.
- Provide employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback, developing employees to their full potential, and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing - State of Rhode Island.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about long term care regulations (OBRA, OSHA, state laws, and other federal laws) that have an impact upon both pharmacy and Center operations.
- 3-5 years or more post-graduate experience in pharmacy operation, clinical oversight, and patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
