Job Description
We are seeking a certified PACU nurse to join our team at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a member of our post-anesthesia care unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth recovery of patients after surgery. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient needs and providing individualized care
- Monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and families
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- At least one year of experience as a PACU nurse
- ENPC, TNCC or CEN certification
- A strong understanding of patient safety principles and practices
