Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar with essential supplies and ensuring that bartenders have clean equipment and materials.
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer, and that all taps and appliances are functioning properly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar environment by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Develop knowledge of menu items and memorize cocktail recipes to provide exceptional service to our customers.
  • Take orders, prepare drinks, bus tables, open tabs, and process payments during peak hours.
  • Engage with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and report usage levels to assist with reordering and inventory management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance.
  • Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to handle tense situations calmly and rationally.
  • Observant and thorough in all aspects of the job.
  • Responsible and punctual, with the ability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
