We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Rockville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized care and treatment to patients with cardio-pulmonary, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders, and physical conditions that manifest into respiratory disorders over an extended period.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain systems that build and enhance the facility's reputation for being the unparalleled provider of Respiratory Therapy and demonstrate the facility's approach to interdisciplinary care.
- Monitor the financial performance of the Respiratory Therapy department and effectively seek methods to improve this performance while ensuring that the standards are consistently observed.
- Contribute to professional development of self and facility's staff.
- Aid in building and maintaining the facility's reputation as the unparalleled respiratory therapy provider by contribution as a professional member of the staff.
- Provide patient treatments that meet patient needs and use current treatment knowledge in accordance with facilities clinical procedures.
- Write accurate, complete, and clear documentation in accordance with CareRite Centers, regulatory, licensing, payor, and accrediting requirements.
- Consistently demonstrate facility interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Demonstrate safe working practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of respiratory community.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Skills applicable to clinical discipline.
$37-$45 an hour
