Overview

At Holisticare Hospice, we are dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care to those in need. As a Compassionate Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients, following a carefully crafted plan to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bedding.
  • Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Provide support for families, sharing knowledge and expertise to guide and support them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring high-quality care and meeting agency and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice experience a plus.
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated.
