Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool Department as a Night Shift RN. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Float Pool Department, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Act as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Manage patient loads in assigned timelines, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
Requirements
  • RN License required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and ACLS, NPR, and STABLE required within six (6) months of hire.
  • Two (2) years of Adult Acute Care experience.
  • One (1) year experience in pediatric, women & children's or newborn nursery areas.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of Acute Care experience.
  • BSN Preferred.
