Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive site inspections and evaluations of electric meter installations.
  • Conducting voltage and current checks, as well as wiring verifications.
  • Executing phase angle tests and ratio tests to ensure meter accuracy.
  • Identifying and addressing issues related to meter functionality and accuracy.
  • Documenting findings and data using Allegiant's Work Order Management system.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The optimal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in electrical services, particularly in meter testing.
  • A strong understanding of various electrical forms and classes, including single and three-phase services.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and technology, including mobile applications.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Work Environment

This position requires a high level of mobility, with travel to various locations as needed. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime. Candidates should be prepared for regional travel and extended stays in different communities.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A proven track record in electric meter site testing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
