About the Role:

The Fitness Trainer is a key position responsible for delivering the Planet Fitness group fitness program, PE@PF. This role involves assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals through personalized workout plans and equipment instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the group fitness program schedule.
  • Provide guidance on equipment usage and create workout plans for members.
  • Conduct bi-weekly updates featuring various exercises.
  • Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
  • Promote fitness training to new members.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and report any issues.
  • Ensure tour and PE@PF percentages meet or exceed 60%.
  • Adhere to Planet Fitness staff policies and procedures.
  • Perform cleaning duties and assist with front desk activities, including phone answering and new member sign-ups.

Requirements:

  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
