Job Title: CT Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at CTTX Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scanners. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images and ensure accurate patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning patients correctly, and administering contrast agents when necessary.
• Obtain and evaluate patient medical history to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
• Monitor patient conditions and make adjustments as necessary during the exam.
• Collaborate with radiologists or other healthcare professionals to determine and evaluate diagnostic results.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as a CT Technologist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Tech.
• Proficient in operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment.
• Knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work efficiently under pressure.
