Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to assist in maintaining the highest quality standards of materials and finished products. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough examinations, testing and troubleshooting of optical test instruments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation procedures to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
  • Perform internal audits and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Assemble, test and calibrate PCB assembly and product using provided documentation and equipment.
  • Apply IPC soldering principles where necessary to ensure quality control.
  • Develop and implement improved quality control operating procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
  • Participate in regular visual inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Certified Production Technician (CPT) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills to effectively evaluate test results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with electrical and optical test and measurement tools, including optical power meters and oscilloscopes.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
