Mechanical Engineering Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Specialist to become a vital part of our client's workforce. The ideal candidate will focus on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of manufacturing workflows to guarantee the effective production of steel tube products. This position necessitates a solid grasp of mechanical engineering concepts, process enhancement strategies, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and refine manufacturing workflows for steel tube production.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and risk evaluations for both new and existing workflows.
  • Examine and interpret data to uncover patterns, resolve issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that workflows comply with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Formulate and enforce quality assurance protocols and inspection standards.
  • Work alongside the quality assurance team to resolve product discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Spearhead and oversee process enhancement initiatives from initial concept to execution.
  • Create project outlines, schedules, and financial plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure project achievements.
  • Offer technical assistance and direction to production teams.
  • Educate and guide production personnel on new workflows and machinery.
  • Aid in diagnosing and addressing mechanical and process-related challenges.
  • Specify, design, and supervise the installation and upkeep of machinery and tools.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to guarantee machinery reliability and effectiveness.
  • Conduct routine machinery evaluations and establish preventive maintenance strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, ideally within the steel or manufacturing sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, process improvement techniques, and quality assurance standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and process modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Effective project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually
