The ideal candidate will focus on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of manufacturing workflows to guarantee the effective production of steel tube products. This position necessitates a solid grasp of mechanical engineering concepts, process enhancement strategies, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and refine manufacturing workflows for steel tube production.
- Perform feasibility assessments and risk evaluations for both new and existing workflows.
- Examine and interpret data to uncover patterns, resolve issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure that workflows comply with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Formulate and enforce quality assurance protocols and inspection standards.
- Work alongside the quality assurance team to resolve product discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Spearhead and oversee process enhancement initiatives from initial concept to execution.
- Create project outlines, schedules, and financial plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure project achievements.
- Offer technical assistance and direction to production teams.
- Educate and guide production personnel on new workflows and machinery.
- Aid in diagnosing and addressing mechanical and process-related challenges.
- Specify, design, and supervise the installation and upkeep of machinery and tools.
- Partner with maintenance teams to guarantee machinery reliability and effectiveness.
- Conduct routine machinery evaluations and establish preventive maintenance strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, ideally within the steel or manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, process improvement techniques, and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software and process modeling tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Effective project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
