Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Database Performance Engineer to join our Customer Success Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our customers, focusing on database performance optimization and reactive engagements for Oracle OMCS applications customers utilizing Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Oracle Applications and Database support processes, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with customers, Oracle lines of business, and executive management to achieve customer success and provide solutions to CSS customers where database performance is an underlying causation of dissatisfaction with contracted CSS services.

Responsibilities
  • Main contact for Oracle customers during Hyper Care engagements
  • Manages the accountability for both Global Application Delivery Services and customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management across lines of business and third parties
  • Plan and deploy support activities to ensure effective delivery of a partnership with the customer
  • Advise our customers regarding database performance topics and provide solutions
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of database administrator, support of databases or database development experience
  • Cloud Technical knowledge
  • Experience within a Service Delivery environment
  • Must be a Self Starter who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Previous experience with Oracle Solutions is preferred
