GENERAL JOB OVERVIEW:
  • Accountable for the loading and unloading of integrated optical components in Burn-in ovens.
  • Responsible for conducting production tests on integrated optical components.
  • Engaged in executing testing procedures and minor troubleshooting of testing equipment to uphold production quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate production and equipment issues to the production team, Test Engineering team, and management.

This role necessitates direct or indirect access to certain confidential information, hardware, software, technology, or technical data (collectively referred to as "Export-Controlled Information") governed by the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All individuals in this role must be eligible to or capable of obtaining authorization from the relevant agency to access applicable Export-Controlled Information. The U.S. Department of Commerce currently mandates that a foreign individual with recent citizenship or permanent residency in Sudan, Ukraine, or a country currently classified in Country Group D:1, E:1, or E:2 (Supplement No. 1 to Part 740, Title 15) must possess an export control license to access our Export-Controlled Information, unless they qualify for specific exemptions under U.S. export control laws and regulations. The list of relevant countries in Country Group D:1, E:1, or E:2 may be updated periodically by the U.S. government. The current processing duration for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months.

Your employment or engagement with Infinera will be contingent upon verifying your eligibility or requirement for obtaining a necessary license and/or authorization from the appropriate agency. You will be required to provide specific information for export control compliance assessment purposes, and your information will be reviewed by Infinera's hiring and export control teams to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations. Infinera will collect necessary documents (such as proof of citizenship, etc.) to evaluate license/authorization requirements if you are offered and accept the position.
