Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to become a part of our exceptional fleet maintenance team.

The Vehicle Maintenance Specialist will be tasked with servicing a wide variety of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from multiple manufacturers.

These vehicles utilize various propulsion systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative technologies such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, propane, hybrid, and electric in select locations.

Vehicle Maintenance Specialists must be proficient in diagnosing and maintaining different systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

Vehicle Maintenance Specialists should be prepared to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday, as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on operational needs.

Vehicle Maintenance Specialists must have the necessary hand tools to complete the assigned tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Comply with D.O.T requirements relevant to job assignments
- Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk, and turn/pivot throughout the workday
- Sit infrequently, as required, during the workday
- Utilize simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reach from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles
- Utilize power and pneumatic tools
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state

- Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday, as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on operational needs.

- Must have the necessary hand tools to perform the assigned tasks.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Current documented automotive mechanical experience
- Experience with diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers
- Possess a complete set of personal hand tools
- Class A/B or A/C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Preferred
- Reliable with the ability to report to work regularly and punctually, completing scheduled workdays consistently
- Available to work varying shifts, additional hours, and/or overtime based on service requirements
- Wear personal protective equipment as necessary

- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and humidity, exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise, as well as outside inclement weather.

- Collaborate effectively in a diverse work environment
- Communicate efficiently through sight, hearing, and/or other means to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $35.58 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after the waiting and/or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, and a discounted employee stock purchase program.
