Position Overview
The primary function of this role is to carry out daily housekeeping tasks as instructed by the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring that the facility is kept clean, safe, and comfortable for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Duties: Execute specific tasks according to daily assignments and document as required by facility protocols. Collaborate with nursing services for routine cleaning in resident areas.
  2. Housekeeping Tasks: Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, monitor the environment for potential hazards, and prioritize urgent cleaning requests.
  3. Waste Management: Properly dispose of infectious waste and ensure that trash is managed effectively to maintain cleanliness.
  4. Safety Compliance: Follow established infection control and safety procedures, reporting any hazardous conditions to the supervisor.
  5. Staff Development: Attend required training sessions and assist in the onboarding of new team members.

Working Conditions
This position requires movement throughout the facility, interaction with residents and staff, and the ability to handle various cleaning tasks under potentially stressful conditions.

Qualifications
Must possess at least an 8th-grade education and be able to communicate effectively in English. No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.
