We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Tire Choice Auto Service Centers. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our guests' vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with guests, explaining repairs and maintenance, and ensuring their vehicles are returned in a safe and reliable condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technicians and service team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective problem-solving.
- Tool Maintenance and Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Certifications: ASE automotive certification in at least one of A1-A8, or equivalent.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on automotive repair or a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Competitive Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
