**About the Position**

Chrysalis is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Reno/Sparks, NV area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals become more independent, build relationships, and have fun. Your responsibilities will include teaching daily living skills, aiding in budgeting and planning, modeling appropriate behaviors, and participating in community activities such as going to the movies, bowling, and zoo visits.

**What to Expect**

As a Caregiver for Chrysalis, you can expect to:

* Teach an individual how to cook a meal and aid in budgeting and planning
* Model appropriate behaviors and participate in fun activities
* Help individuals stay physically active and exercise

**Qualifications**

* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
* No prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is necessary, as Chrysalis provides training for all caregivers

**Available Shifts**

We are hiring full-time and part-time positions with flexible shifts. We will discuss availability during the interview.

**Benefits**

This position starts at $14.25-$15.25/hr depending on experience. Chrysalis offers competitive benefits to full-time employees, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and more.
