About the Role

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by operating CT scanning equipment and producing diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure the quality of all images and confirm that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct.
  • Perform computed tomography procedures, including positioning patients and making radiation exposures.
  • Assist the radiologist with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other procedures, utilizing sterile techniques.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Requirements
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)
  • Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
  • Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred)
  • State Licensure (preferred)
  • Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience as CT or Rad Tech (preferred)
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. You may be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse, and may be required to use physical restraints. You may also be exposed to adverse weather conditions, high noise levels, and bright lights.
