City Courier Specialist

Pitt Ohio Express is seeking a skilled Class A City Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to federal regulations.

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport general freight.
• Load and unload trailers using mechanical equipment when necessary.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, pulling, and carrying freight.
• Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Comply with federal regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver's logs and other documentation.

• A minimum age of 23 years of age.
• Two years of verifiable driving experience or completion of an approved driving school program.
• Pass a driving test administered by a certified trainer.
• Owning a valid driver's license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements.
• Providing accurate information about previous driving licenses and suspensions.
• No record of serious traffic violations or excessive citations.
• A clean driving record with no history of accidents or reckless driving.
• Passing a DOT physical examination and consenting to a pre-employment drug screen.
• Providing documentation for gaps in employment history and agreeing to a background check.
• Having strong communication and problem-solving skills.
