We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our team at SkyWest Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Job Summary

The A&P Mechanic will work on the entire aircraft, troubleshooting all systems and making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety. You will be responsible for managing all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork. This is a rewarding opportunity to gain new skills and work with a world-class team of mechanics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
  • Make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety
  • Manage all documentation and paperwork
  • Work on the entire aircraft, including CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900, and E175 aircraft
Requirements
  • Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
  • Hold a valid FAA issued A&P Certificate
  • Possess good troubleshooting skills
  • Possess excellent communication and people skills
  • Possess problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Be willing to work a night/third shift position, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • CRJ and EMB experience
  • Familiarity with Company and Manufacturer Manuals
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Be able to read, write, and understand the English Language
  • Be able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
