Housekeeping Associate

The Room Attendant is a key member of the Housekeeping Management Team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in guest rooms and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Notify supervisors when service is completed, ensuring rooms are ready for sale or occupation.
- Monitor laundry supplies and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Minimize waste of supplies and amenities, promoting a culture of sustainability within the housekeeping team.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and report any needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding health and safety services.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities are preferred.
- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
- Carrying, lifting, or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
- Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
