Position Overview

The role of a Fume Hood Evaluation Specialist is open within the SSC team at Compass Group Careers. This full-time position necessitates a valid driver's license, and prior experience in fume hood evaluations is advantageous.

Work Schedule: This position operates on a full-time basis, from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise written protocols for fume hood evaluations
  • Perform fume hood assessments in accordance with industry standards
  • Assist in safety initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Examine and evaluate exposure control apparatus across the facility
  • Address incidents, spills, and odor-related concerns
  • Collaborate with partners to sustain ventilation systems

Required Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in fume hood evaluations
  • Possession of a valid driver's license

Work Environment: The position may involve exposure to various elements such as heat, noise, and dust, with potential for flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as necessary.
