About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of freight. This includes interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading freight from various vehicles
• Attaching tags or marking freight for identification
• Moving freight, stock, and materials within the warehouse and yard areas
• Inspecting materials against work orders to ensure accuracy
• Completing necessary paperwork and documentation
• Providing excellent customer service through phone and face-to-face interactions
• Recording unit numbers handled or moved
• Following safety procedures and protocols

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Transportation or freight experience preferred
• Ability to move up to 200 pounds using proper equipment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
