We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Boomtown Casino Biloxi. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing preventative maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment repair, with experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. They will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment operations, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all facilities are safe and well-maintained.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as the successful candidate will need to work effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operation of the facility. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are also essential requirements.

In return, we offer a competitive starting salary of $15.50 per hour, based on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides preventative maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment (i.e. air, plumbing, electrical)
  • Troubleshoots all equipment operations (i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration)
  • Ensures that all facilities are safe and well-maintained
  • Assists other facilities technicians as needed
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, and filter changes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification in a skilled construction or building maintenance trade (e.g. Carpenter, Carpet Layer, Plumber, Pipe Fitter, Electrician, HVAC Technician etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
