Cate Street Seafood Station seeks an experienced and skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Master Sushi Artist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Sushi Preparation: Prepare sushi for dining room orders and interact with guests at the sushi bar.
- Quality Control: Ensure Cate Street Seafood Station standards of quality and service are met.
- Food Safety: Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- 3-5 years of prior Sushi chef experience.
- A strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience. A flexible schedule with a minimum of 2 weeknights and 1 weekend night is required.
This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment with various equipment. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise. The physical demands include occasional sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.
