Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, consultations, and counseling, to support their educational and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessments and Interventions: Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning, and develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Counseling and Consultation: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues, and consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions and strategies to support student success.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss student progress and plans, and support crisis intervention and provide guidance on coping strategies and resilience building.
- Professional Development: Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations, and stay up-to-date with relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Certification: Valid State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in School Psychology.
- Experience: Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
