About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate developed x-rays, video tape, or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and oversee the operation of radiologic or magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to the specification of the examination.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the scan.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
