About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Commercial Installation Specialist. As a key member of our electrical services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical support to our Tufting Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and troubleshoot electrical problems in our industrial carpet manufacturing process
  • Design and install electrical circuits, as well as estimate costs for new equipment installations
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting using electrical theory, meters, equipment manuals, and schematics
  • Troubleshoot motors, controllers, and motor controls, including VFDs, sensors, lasers, and situation monitors
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to debug machine controllers, motors, and other related components
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, basic electricity, motors, VFDs, and motor controls
  • An associate's degree in electrical/electronic engineering is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, electrical schematics, and short correspondence
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to calculate electrical ratios and interpret various instructions
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hand and eye coordination, and lift up to 25 pounds
