BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Senior Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our clients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to patient care management and services provided.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NC.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent education and experience.
- Solid computer skills, including prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
