MRI Technologist Job Description

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform a variety of standardized imaging procedures, set up and adjust related equipment and devices, and maintain related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Set up and adjust MRI equipment, including coils and magnets
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or ARRT recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Program
  • Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six (6) months of employment
  • Must pass the MRI ARRT registry within two (2) years of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • MRI experience preferred
