Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position with a caseload to be discussed during the interview.
  • Onsite work is required during the 2023-2024 school year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress.
Requirements
  • A valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent license is required.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
