Boulder County Jail EMT Basic Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team at the Boulder County Jail. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical care and treatment to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside nursing staff to provide medical care, including basic assessments, medication administration, and emergency response.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Utilize EMT skills, including communication, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs, to provide exceptional patient care.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
