Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Handyman to take on maintenance responsibilities within our organization. The ideal candidate will engage in various commercial upkeep tasks, which may encompass pipe fitting, insulation, welding, electrical or mechanical repairs, and the installation of new equipment.

You should be diligent, a collaborative worker, and committed to delivering high-quality results in all your tasks. Extensive experience in maintenance roles is highly valued, along with a positive disposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine, operate, or test machinery or equipment to identify malfunctions.
  • Disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to access and replace defective components using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing other preventive measures.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine corrective actions, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.
  • Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and precision measuring instruments or electrical testing devices.
  • Engage with clients in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in handyman or general maintenance roles.
  • Familiarity with job site safety regulations (OSHA).
  • Understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Capability to work at heights exceeding thirty (30) feet using ladders, lifts, or bucket trucks.
  • Physical ability to lift over 40 lbs consistently.
