Purpose and Scope:

The Senior Systems Engineer will perform engineering tasks in various assignments as part of Fresenius R&D team. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of engineering techniques/skills and be capable of leading/managing small number of less experienced engineers/technicians in implementation of engineering solutions to realize innovative products and product improvements.

The Senior Systems Engineer will be capable of undertaking high level tasks and effectively work with Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), under minimal supervision, to produce expected outcomes. This role seeks constant improvement to improve the quality of processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design products, processes, or equipment for projects.
Execute engineering tasks in multiple projects simultaneously.
Effectively work within the scope of a subassembly project.
Obtain and apply thorough understanding of design control and relevant design principles.
Apply risk management process within scope of work.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering or scientific discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
4+ years' related experience.
Master's Degree with 3+ years' related experience.
PhD Degree with Postdoctoral related experience.
