We are seeking a Guidance Counselor to join our team at Life Skills High School. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

About the Job

The Guidance Counselor will be responsible for providing individualized guidance and support to students, parents, and teachers. This will involve:

  • Developing and implementing student success plans
  • Providing career counseling and exploration services
  • Facilitating student goal setting and achievement
  • Collaborating with teachers and administrators to ensure student success

In addition to these responsibilities, the Guidance Counselor will also be expected to:

  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. If you are passionate about supporting students and families, we encourage you to apply.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a strong background in counseling or a related field. We prefer candidates with experience working with high school age students and families.
