Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of assigned patients, evaluate their plans of care, and document nursing interventions.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and other nurses to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Medication Administration and Management: Safely administer medications, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Education and Training: Serve as a preceptor for new staff members, provide guidance and support, and contribute to the development of nursing skills and knowledge.
- Quality Improvement and Patient Safety: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Certification and Licensing: Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a medical surgical setting.
