Job Title: Local CDL A Driver

At Performance Food Group, we are seeking a skilled Local CDL A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections on the tractor-trailer or straight truck
  • Deliver and/or unload products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Perform damage control checks on items and complete necessary paperwork
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
