Cosmetic Physician Partners is a leading medical aesthetics company seeking a skilled part-time Plastic Surgeon to join our surgical aesthetic team at one of our clinics.
Responsibilities:- Meet with patients to discuss their medical history and examine their files to provide personalized surgical options.
- Outline all the risks and benefits associated with the surgery before the procedure.
- Consult with patients who require reconstructive surgical techniques, have a steady hand under pressure, and are an active listener who can respond to patient questions in a non-judgmental manner.
- Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures, including prescribing medication and providing aftercare advice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments to remove stitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patient's healing.
- Handle various administrative duties, such as updating patient records and clinic policies.
- Hold ASC privileges in the region.
- Hold a degree in medicine.
- Completion of a residency program.
- Additional courses and training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
- Years of practical experience in surgery.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- A sound understanding of patient aftercare and wound management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and impeccable bedside manner.
2 days/week
