Role Overview:
  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical interventions under the guidance of an anesthesiologist.
  • Deliver anesthesia services remotely in areas such as Endoscopy, Pain Management, MRI/CT Imaging, and Cardiac Laboratory.
  • Engage in the education and training of nurse anesthesia students.
  • Collaborate effectively with the anesthesia care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
  • Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association.
