Plant Supervisor

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a highly skilled Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our California-Sanger facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of aggregates, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the plant, ensuring all employees adhere to Vulcan's safety policies and procedures.
• Organize and plan production schedules to optimize plant utilization, personnel, and inventory requirements.
• Manage employee relations, providing leadership, training, and supervision to ensure the operational function of the business.
• Monitor production and quality control to ensure a quality product is delivered to our customers.
• Maintain compliance with Vulcan's safety, operations, and environmental policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in supervising production employees, preferably in an aggregate, sand/gravel, or asphalt plant.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.
• Knowledge and understanding of rock and sand mining, ready-mix concrete, and/or asphalt operations and equipment, MSHA regulations, engineering principles, and quality control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external audiences.
• Financial knowledge and experience leading financial performance to established targets.

• A competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annual salary.
