Key Responsibilities:

  • Emergency Management: Develop and implement HICS and Public Safety ICS protocols to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and workplace violence programs.
  • Training & Compliance: Oversee public safety training programs, including defensive tactics, taser, firearms, and de-escalation techniques, and support compliance with national safety benchmarks.
  • Fleet & Construction: Manage fleet maintenance and outfitting, and assist with construction projects to integrate video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Technology: Utilize Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Report Management Systems, Access Control, and Video Surveillance to enhance safety measures.
  • Budget & Staffing: Oversee department budgets and staffing, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Leadership: Foster a productive work environment, engage with staff, and maintain a flexible schedule for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with HICS, Public Safety ICS, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Skilled in public safety training, fleet management, construction oversight, and budget management.
  • Proficient with CAD, Report Management Systems, and surveillance technologies.
