Job Summary:
Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly experienced Exercise Planner to support the Army National Guard Mission Command Training Support Program. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expert support in all phases of exercise planning and development, ensuring the creation of effective and reliable training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exercise planning support at the respective Army National Guard Military Training Centers, adhering to the Mission Command Training Support Program Exercise Planners Guide.
- Interact and communicate effectively with corporate and customer management to determine project scope, planning needs, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain working relationships with various stakeholders, including OST/EST, HST, IEWTPT, and exercise participants, to develop and achieve training requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and verify unit-level Military Training Center scenarios.
- Coordinate and facilitate realistic theater-level training scenarios.
- Participate in mission planning activities and prepare necessary materials.
- Integrate threat OE into scenarios.
- Develop OPFOR Concept of the Operation.
- Coordinate with other DoD users for mission planning materials.
- Ensure all Warfighting Functions are included and synchronized throughout the training event.
- Coordinate and communicate event changes across all stakeholders.
- Ensure that the exercise stimulates commander's training objectives.
- Define requirements, risk, schedule, and change management.
- Work closely with the client project/program office to document the need for changes to requirements and communicate change estimates as needed.
- Ensure delivery of reports.
- Analyze progress and develop necessary recovery plans and/or alternatives.
Requirements:
- At least ten (10) years' experience with military or DOD, including experience in exercise planning and training, simulation training, and scenario development.
- At least 2 years' experience with exercise planning using the JELC process.
- Experience in large constructive exercises, multi-domain events, and implementation of JLCCTC.
- Former FA57 qualified, preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in operational planning and simulations using JLCCTC stimulating MCIS.
- Strong understanding of the LVCG concepts, preferred.
Education Requirements:
BA/BS degree, subject immaterial.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
