Critical Care Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a dynamic team of professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in critical care veterinary medicine or emergency veterinary medicine. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care as directed by the staff veterinarians, while also delivering excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in patient procedures across various medical areas, including surgery, radiology, critical care, and emergency medicine.
- Ensure patient comfort and cleanliness, while monitoring their condition and promptly alerting supervising veterinarians to any changes.
- Administer medications accurately and calculate dosages correctly, while maintaining a clean and well-stocked work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by triaging, updating clients, and answering inquiries, while also performing laboratory work and radiography as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in critical care veterinary medicine or emergency veterinary medicine.
- Candidate must be a licensed technician, or eligible to licensed, in the state of Washington.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.
- A competitive salary range of $30-$40 per hour, plus a swing or overnight differential.
