As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along designated routes, filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane, and delivering propane cylinders to customers.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate a propane delivery truck and navigate through various terrain and weather conditions.
- Filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane, ensuring accurate measurements and timely delivery.
- Delivering propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Performing daily functions in a safe manner, adhering to all federal and state codes, and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- A competitive salary range of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.
- 17 paid time off days, 7 paid holidays, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
- Ongoing safety incentives and career advancement opportunities.
- Uniforms provided and a $2,500 employee referral program.
- A valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- An acceptable driving record and satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
