HR Generalist

Job Summary

As an HR Generalist with HD Supply, you will provide support and counsel to business/functional lines, including staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations, and performance management. You will ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, acting as a liaison to other departments and functional experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer core human resources programs, including staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and learning.
• Develop and recommend solutions to human resources issues.
• Consult with management on the interpretation and administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve associate relations issues with managers and associates.
• Conduct staffing support, including sourcing, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Self-motivated, collaborative HR professional with excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in a supply chain environment.
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Workday, and UKG.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunity to move about.
• Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline, with 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
