Medical Director for Quality Patient Care

Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions with compassion and expertise.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and their loved ones.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare, prioritizing empathy and understanding.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations to facilitate smooth reimbursement processes.
- Diagnostics and Procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
- Perform procedures as needed, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and expert consultation.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and best practices.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers, promoting collaboration and continuity of care.
- Quality Improvement
- Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing evidence-based solutions.

- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- A valid and unrestricted Nebraska medical license or license-eligible
